PROUD - ScrapMuch? + Lasting Memories + Rochelle Spears

Hi there

Inspired by another sketch from
Laura
PROUD
My little guy (at the age of 5) came home and said
"they gave me this green piece of paper on stage....
in front of the whole school! (2014)
He WON the most COMPASSIONATE AWARD
for his school
He had NO IDEA! until we read it together
...Look how proud he is!!

Here are some close ups:
Fancy Pants alphas - altered with some Glitter and Glam
I embossed half of the letters
 Added a match-y Glam star,
embossed his ribbon, and added a sticker
HAPPINESS = YOUR SMILE
I tucked a Polaroid frame under,
then did some doodling with a chalk marker.
Added some Bling to my layered stars

Here is Laura's Sketch:

My friend Sandy inspired me to play along
with
and

Theme: "Welcome to the Oscars!"
"Glitter and Glam"

2 - Stuck?! Sketches - Feb 15th

Hi there

Found some scrappy time
inspired by the amazing sketch by Laura.
2
I chose a black background for school photos...but with
busy paper, it works well
and matches his shirt.

 Here are some close ups:
Grade 2 and of course his thumbprint,
messy paint with Time Holtz
I tucked my photo under the cut file and
faux stitched using my chalk marker
Tucked more stars with acrylic paint and
Tim Holtz Dot Fade Stencil.

Here is Laura's inspiring Sketch:
Stuck?! Sketches Feb-15
Back in October (15th)
I used Laura's sketch to
document his proofs
(Left side)
This sketch worked beautifully
to create a double
oh SN@P! 2
I will also submit this for their DT Call
there is still time for you too!
~ wish me luck!

DILL PICKLE - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday - Design Team REVEAL

Hi there!

Today I am sharing my
latest
Sketch-y Friday
REVEAL
Dill PICKLE
This is my youngest nephew, Dylan.
He picked up the nick name Dill Pickle.
In these photos,  he is about the same age
as my son now
- WOW do they ever resemble each other.

I created using My Mind's Eye collectable collection and stickers.

Here are some close ups:
Silhouette cut file "D" mixed with Thickers tile letters

Silhouette cut file Polaroid frame, Laura's DIY enamel dots
(to match - Glossy Accents and matte nail polish) and wooden buttons altered
(I painted the naval Blue to match but they have photographed darker)
 My Mind's Eye sticker layered

Here is Laura's SKETCH:
ScrapMuch? Feb-19
My take on this FANTASTIC sketch:
I chose an over-sized letter D,
to accommodate my larger photos
and lifted the title to the top of the photo's
(since I was using the "D" in the title)
- it works!

Now it's YOUR turn,
